At the registration stage, some positions are required to be registered in party member (these positions are not in the majority). In the national civil service examination, it is mainly concentrated in the central organs, and the grassroots or vertical organs generally have no requirements for political outlook. In the provincial civil service examination, there are far fewer posts requiring party member's identity than the national examination. Except for a few provincial party committees, more than 95% of the posts do not require political outlook. Therefore, in the registration stage, because the position limits party member's status, the number of applicants will be less and the competition will be relatively small. This is indeed a great advantage, but there are relatively few such positions, so candidates from outside the party need not worry too much.
Besides recruiting civil servants, the recruitment of civil servants in Selected Graduates also gives party member an advantage. As an alternative cadre, Selected Graduates is a kind of civil servant. The registration conditions clearly require that you must be a party member or a class cadre, which provides another way for party member to become a civil servant, and is undoubtedly an advantage for party member to take the civil servant exam.
