Brief introduction of Peking Union Medical College Institute of Medical Information Hospital

The Institute of Medical Information was formerly the Information Research Office of China Academy of Medical Sciences, which was established in 1958. 1974 merged with the library of China Academy of Medical Sciences to form the Institute of Medical Information, and 1993 was renamed as the Institute of Medical Information. In the past 50 years, around the important tasks of national medical and health reform and development and medical science and technology innovation, a large number of research and decision-making consulting services have been carried out in the fields of medical information research and intelligence investigation, health policy and management research, medical information analysis and evaluation, bioinformatics, health informatization and so on. Participated in the research and formulation of the national and Ministry of Health's medical and health science and technology development plan, the national medium-and long-term scientific and technological development plan, the "Healthy China 2020" strategy, and the relevant policies for medical and health system reform since the Seventh Five-Year Plan, and provided consulting services for scientific decision-making.
