In order to solve this situation and make students better adapt to high school life, Dongying No.2 Middle School cooperated with the Municipal Psychological Society to offer mental health education courses in the first year of high school, making mental health education a compulsory course for freshmen every year, and giving full play to the leading role of characteristic schools of mental health education in ordinary primary and secondary schools.
The mental health education course offered by senior one was completed in 17 weeks, involving freshmen's adaptation, self-cognition, self-cognition, interpersonal communication, test psychology and other topics. In addition to offering mental health education courses, the school has also set up a mental health consultation room to provide students with psychological consultation and health consultation regularly or irregularly, and hired psychologists to give lectures to students.
