1. A citizen shall, within 3 months from the date of reaching the age of 16, go to the local police station where his permanent residence is located to solve the application procedures. When solving the application procedures, submit the household registration book, collect photos, fill in the registration form of resident identity card, and pay the material fee. /kloc-If citizens under 0/6 years of age voluntarily apply for resident identity cards, their caregivers will apply for them on their behalf. 2. The public security organ shall, after checking the application procedures of citizens and the contents of their household registration, transmit the accreditation information to the public security organ at the next higher level. 3. The public security bureaus of all districts and counties are responsible for examining and issuing the documents, and then transmitting them to the accreditation center of the Municipal Public Security Bureau. 4. The accreditation center of the Public Security Bureau makes materials according to the information. 5. The information will be sent to the applicant after being checked and tested by the police station in charge of registration. According to the legislation, public security organs should release information within 60 days from the date when citizens submit the registration form for resident identity cards. In areas with inconvenient transportation, the settlement time may be appropriately extended, but the extension time shall not exceed 30 days.
