Is Taoist culture mysterious?

Taoism studied the formation and operation principle of the universe in the early days, and then combined this part of the principle with society, politics and military affairs, and then extended it to the study of human nature, human body structure and health preservation, and then extended it to longevity, spirit, religious belief, calculation and other aspects, which can be said to be profound.

First of all, it studies the universe of heaven and earth. Taoism believes that heaven and earth were chaotic at first, then split and then formed heaven and earth. This is the legend that Pangu opened heaven and earth; Taoism divides heaven and earth through chaos, and then thinks that heaven and earth belong to yin and yang, and chaos is a mixture of yin and yang, which is complementary and indispensable. Yin and Yang then evolved into four images and five elements, namely, Shaoyin, Shaoyang, Taiyin, the sun and gold, wood, water, fire and earth. It is believed that heaven and earth are a cycle and a complete chain. This part of the theory is the foundation of Taoism, which is actually consistent with modern science. According to modern science, the universe is produced by an explosion after a point converges to the extreme, and then it is constantly split and reorganized, thus forming a cosmic starry sky and finally producing life on the planet. According to modern space observation, the nebula-like material body is the initial state of the universe, that is, the chaotic state in Taoism, which is a gasification state, and then the nebula explodes again, that is, just like in Taoism, and then the nebula evolves and recombines. Just as Taoism said, the four substances of earth, water, fire and wind recombine, and then form an entity, which explodes and recombines constantly, and then forms the starry sky of the universe, and a small galaxy is born, that is, a small universe is born. Modern scientific theory also believes that matter is composed of energy, and the ultimate manifestation of energy is gas, and energy is divided into positive and negative, which is what Taoism calls yin and yang, which is also consistent.

In addition, in the social and political research of Taoism, Taoism believes that people should conform to the weather, govern society by doing nothing, and should not go against the general trend, pay attention to the unity of nature and man, control their own desires, and live in harmony with nature as advocated by modern society.

Taoist military research comes from tactics and array methods, and many military battles come from Taoism, so do tactics. For example, tactics such as surprise attack victory and soldiers' abnormal situation all come from the theory of water. Water is as good as water, and water is impermanent, so soldiers should not have constant situations.

There are also studies on human nature in Taoism, such as "Heaven and earth are heartless, everything is a grass dog, saints are heartless, and people are grass dogs", "When there is virtue, there is no virtue, and when there is virtue, there is persistence, and there is no virtue", "Everyone knows beauty, but it is not beautiful, and everyone knows good, good and evil", thinking that there is no distinction between good and evil and benevolence, and the extremes of things will be reversed.

It is one of the best in human body structure and health preservation. The theory of human meridians comes from Taoism, and Chinese medicine also comes from Taoism, including the five elements corresponding to the five internal organs of the human body, which are the essence in pharmacology and alchemy. Taoism is also the only school in the world that pursues health and longevity. The number of people who live long is also respected by Taoism, and there are many chemical technologies derived from alchemy.

Taoist spiritual research is more reflected in the so-called metaphysics. Taoism believes that the three treasures of the human body are "essence, qi and spirit", but it also pays attention to nourishing the spirit, pursuing people's spiritual enjoyment and ethereal realm, attracting a large number of elites to study this, and in this respect, religion was born, that is, Taoism.
