? Li Shishi (1102-1129), a prostitute in a brothel in the late Northern Song Dynasty, was born in Bianjing (now Kaifeng, Henan). More common in unofficial history, note novels. It is said that Li Shishi was deeply loved by Song Huizong and was favored by Zhou Bangyan, a famous poet in the Song Dynasty. It is also said that he had an affair with Yan Qing in the Water Margin, and he loved Yan Qing. Thus, his deeds are legendary, which indirectly proves that Li Shishi's talent and looks are very comparable.
Li Shishi is the daughter of Wang Yin, the owner of a dye house in Bianjing City. When she was three years old, her father named her a Buddhist temple, and the old monk rubbed her roof. She burst into tears. The old monk thought she looked like a Buddhist disciple, because everyone called her "teacher", so he called her Li Shishi. A year later, my father died in prison for his crime. She gradually became beautiful and fair, and was adopted by Lee Wan, who runs a brothel, and taught her to play chess, calligraphy, painting, singing and dancing. At that time, Li Shishi became a famous prostitute in Bianjing, and was the object of contention among scholars and descendants. She is quite famous among officials, and the story of her and Song Huizong is also a much-told story. Even Song Huizong wanted to get married when she heard her name. Gao Qiu and Yang Jian naturally encouraged Song Huizong and vowed not to leak the news.
At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, Song Huizong was exiled, and the whereabouts of Li Shishi became an eternal mystery.
