What is a rock climbing competition?
The sport of climbing upwards. Rock climbing is an upward climbing movement on natural or artificial rock walls, which belongs to the sports skill derived from mountaineering. As early as 1950s, rock climbing was listed as a world-class competition. The highest organization of rock climbing is the International Rock Climbing Federation, which was established in Frankfurt, Germany in 2007 and is responsible for hosting the biennial World Rock Climbing Championships and other rock climbing competitions.
