Where does Shanghai Fangta Garden belong?

Shanghai Fangta Garden is a national AAAA tourist attraction and a cultural relic protection unit in Shanghai.

Fangta Garden, located in the south of Zhongshan East Road in Songjiang Town, is a classical garden newly built in the early 1980s. The designer is a professor at Feng Jizhong Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning.

According to research, Fangta Garden is located in the center of Huating County in the Tang and Song Dynasties, with a long history. When Fangta Garden was built, a large number of Tang and Song relics and some east-west Tanghe revetment were found about two meters underground. According to historical records, large temples such as Tang Shengxing Temple, Mingfu Temple and Guandi Temple were once located here. During the Xining period of the Northern Song Dynasty, the famous Xingshengjiao Temple Tower in the south of the Yangtze River was built here. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Feng Yi had three famous people in Songjiang, namely Dong, a famous painter and calligrapher in the Ming Dynasty, Han Gong, a famous anti-Qing general in the late Ming Dynasty, and Shen, a famous calligrapher in the Qing Dynasty.

architectural feature

Fangta Garden, with the ruins of ancient culture in the Northern Song Dynasty and the most beautiful square tower in the south of the Yangtze River as the main body, uses a large bamboo garden nearby to gather a number of ancient buildings. Built in 1978, initially built in 198 1. The garden covers an area of 172.73 mu, with the square tower as the center and various landscapes around it:

There are waterside pavilions and towers in the south, gardens dominated by nanmu in the west, and Tian Fei Palace moved from Shanghai-Henan Road and Bridge in the northeast. Around the tower are Wang Xianqiao in Song Dynasty, Zhaobi in Ming Dynasty, beautiful peaks, five ancient peaks and newly-built antique corridors, ships and halls.

On the north side of the square tower, there is a granite-paved square where visitors can enjoy themselves. Next to the east side of the square, there is a granite road, which is the main passage from the east gate to the garden. It is 3 meters high and 5-6 meters wide, with two stone walls, high and low, and straight.

The music is full of changes, which makes tourists feel that they have entered the whole building, thus accumulating surprises that aggravate the square tower. On the lower side of the cut stone wall, there is a foot lamp in every corner. At night, the garden is open, and the footlights emit colorful light, which makes the stone walls shine and increases the interest of tourists.

In order to show its nature, roughness and interest, Fangta Garden also dug a pool and built a mountain at 1980. An S-shaped lake surrounds the south of the tower and extends from west to east. The blue waves of the lake reflect the shadow of the tower, and the scenery is very beautiful. There are clusters of lotus flowers scattered on the lake, square, round and prismatic. Lotus blooms in summer and autumn, and the lake is particularly beautiful. The shore of the lake is an open and flat lawn, which slowly inclines to the water, and sporadic Feng Dan is planted on the shore. From north to south, tallow stands against Feng Dan, crystal clear.

On the west side of the square tower.

There is a unique corridor, which is in harmony with ancient buildings such as square towers in the form of antique, showing the antique of mountain wood, bucket arch columns and square brick columns. The promenade rises and falls naturally with the height of the mound, and visitors can enjoy the panoramic view of the square tower and the waterside pavilion and lake view in an unobstructed view.

A large bamboo forest in the east of Fangta Garden, covering an area of 25 mu, is a major feature of the garden. When you enter the garden from the east gate, the first thing you see is the bamboo forest and the spire exposed on it.

Quite charming. These bamboo gardens are expanded on the basis of small bamboo gardens in old private houses. There are stone paths in the forest, winding paths leading to a secluded place, quiet and interesting bamboo garden ponds, antique rectangular stone benches and thatched pavilions rare in the south. There are many kinds of bamboos in the bamboo garden, including Phyllostachys pubescens, Phyllostachys pubescens, Phyllostachys pubescens, Phyllostachys bambusa, Phyllostachys bambusa and so on.

From the magic of ancient buildings to the beauty of natural scenery, from the elegance of bamboo forests to exotic flowers and grasses, the whole square pagoda garden looks neat, harmonious and natural. There are no trees, flowers and entertainment spots between the square tower and the zhaobi in the park, which highlights the status of cultural relics and shows the elegance, simplicity, tranquility and cleanliness of the ancient national culture in China. The ancillary facilities in the park, such as tea room, sales department, reception room, office and other buildings, also reflect the inherent style of the heritage garden.

Named after the temple. It is located in the center of the park, on the north bank of the round lake. It was built in the first year of Xining in Northern Song Dynasty (1068 ~ 1094), more than 900 years ago. The tower is 42.65 meters high ***9 stories high. It is square, imitating the shape of the brick tower in the Tang Dynasty, so it is commonly known as the square tower. The square tower is a brick-wood structure with a pavilion structure. Each side of the external wall at the bottom of the brick body is 6 meters wide, and there are verandahs around it, which shrink step by step. The outer wall of the brick body is divided into three rooms by brick columns, with a pot door in the middle and a square room in the middle, and the floors are connected by wooden ladders. At the top of the tower is a pagoda with a height of eight meters, which consists of a cover basin, a phase wheel and a vase. There are four iron cables dragged from the spire to the eaves of the ninth floor, which are called storm cables. There are copper bells tied to the four corners of the tower eaves, which are called "police birds". The wind blows the bell, which is pleasant to hear, to prevent birds from falling off the tower and nesting. Climbing the square tower, you can have a panoramic view of Songjiang, the ancient city. The square tower can stand for thousands of years, which is inseparable from its ingenious structure. First of all, there are a lot of wooden materials in the square tower. In addition to the external stairs, flat seats, tower eaves and bucket arches, there are three wooden hoops on each floor of the tower. This practice is forbidden in buildings, because there is no wood in the building structure (between bricks, stones and other materials), because perishable wood will lead to the collapse of the building. However, it is a miracle that all the remaining wood of the square tower (referring to the original work of the Song Dynasty) is not moth-eaten, decayed or even termites. During the transformation of the square tower, a Japanese professor was deeply surprised to see the corrosion resistance of wood, saying that it was an invaluable treasure left by your ancestors. ) In War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the Japanese army was near the square tower, but it didn't blow it up, which is another miracle. According to the analysis of two professors, Chen Congzhou and Lu Binjie of Tongji University, wood must be treated with anti-corrosion and flexibility, and it will not rot for thousands of years, which must be related to it.

Secondly, during the reconstruction of 1974 square tower, it was found that the foundation of the square tower was a wooden pile. The ancestors used the principle of "dry for a thousand years, wet for a thousand years, dry for one year, wet for one year, wet for one year, wet for two or three years" (a carpenter's proverb) to successfully build a square tower, so that it will not fall down for a thousand years, and the inclination is very small (53 cm to the northwest).

Third, the tower foundation is different. It leans to the southeast, the highest point is 40 cm in the northwest corner, while the southeast corner is only 20 cm. When people stand in the tower, they will obviously feel the ground tilt. Is this the negligence of our ancestors when they built the tower? In fact, this reflects the wisdom of ancient craftsmen. Because Songjiang is adjacent to the sea in the east, and there are many southeast winds and typhoons in summer, the tower foundation consciously leans to the southeast. In the Northern Song Dynasty, Shen Kuo wrote a story in his Biography of Meng Qian, saying that an old craftsman once built such a leaning tower in his later years. No one can understand. Why did he build such a tower? He said: "We people can't see it. This tower will become a straight tower in 200 years and will never tilt again. " It can be seen that the square tower is exactly the same as the tower built by the old carpenter. It was built on the basis of studying a series of achievements such as local meteorology, geology, tower shape, materials and production, which shows the great value of this tower.

This square tower is famous for its beauty.

Southeast, very artistic. The square tower is characterized by its slender body and wide eaves, and its shape is still like a girl in a long skirt. A poem "Zhi Zhu Ci" by Huang Ting, a Songjiang poet in the Qing Dynasty, praised the square tower in this way: "How can the floating picture of 36 offshore be as exquisite as the square tower?" The artistic features of the square tower are vividly described in two sentences.
