Spirited Away is a Japanese animated film, produced by Studio Ghibli, directed and written by Miyazaki Hayao. Spirited Away premiered in Japan on July 20th, 20001,and gained about 23.5 million people and 30.4 billion yen, making it the highest-grossing movie in Japanese history. Spirited Away is Miyazaki Hayao's masterpiece after the Ghost Princess announced her retirement, and is known as Alice in Wonderland in Miyazaki Hayao. The story tells the story of a little girl in the supernatural world. Spirited Away won the Golden Bear Award, the highest honor at the Berlin International Film Festival, and the Best Animated Feature Film Award at the 75th Academy Awards.
