Let's take bus No.212 to Jianghan Road first. Sitting on the 2 12 bus, I saw tall buildings rising from the ground outside the window, trees everywhere, and a scene of traffic. I can't help but sigh: Wuhan today is really beautiful! There used to be only bicycles and buses in Wuhan, and the streets were narrow and short. With the gradual development of economy, there are taxis and cars, but there are more vehicles, and the roads are still so narrow that traffic jams always appear. So people built the Yangtze River Bridge, the Second Yangtze River Bridge, the Baishazhou Bridge and the Qingchuan Bridge ... Finally, the Yangtze River Tunnel was built under the Yangtze River, which can divert vehicles and ease the road load.
The Yangtze River Tunnel is the first tunnel on the Yangtze River! Also known as the "First Tunnel of the Yangtze River", it has a total length of 3,260 meters and a service life of 100 years. It is located between the Yangtze River Bridge and the Second Bridge, with the entrance at Hankou Branch Road and the exit at Wuchang Friendship Avenue. It takes only six or seven minutes to get to Wuchang by taxi. The taxi took us into the tunnel. I can't believe we are driving under the Yangtze River. Looking at the bright lights and advanced facilities in the Yangtze River Tunnel, I was filled with emotion: modern human beings are developing so fast that we can dig a tunnel under the Yangtze River. What kind of technology is needed! How many people have worked hard for this! It can be said that "nothing is difficult in the world, nothing is impossible to a willing mind"! After the Yangtze River Tunnel is officially opened to traffic, it will be able to divert about 20% of the river-crossing traffic in the central city of Wuhan and relieve the traffic pressure of the Second Yangtze River Bridge.
Now Wuhan is also repairing the light rail, and plans to extend from the embankment to Yangluo. This greatly reduces the traffic jam, and the light rail is also very fast, from the starting station to the end, only more than an hour. It's a long journey. If you take a bus, it will take several hours!
When I came to the river beach, I saw a solar windmill pole. On one side, the winding stone road extends to the depths of Jiangtan Park, and a large lawn is planted with many green trees. We climbed the flood wall on one side of the park. Outside the wall is Jiang Yan Road, which combines classical architecture with modern architecture and shows the prosperity of the city. Inside the wall are jadeite gems embedded in the surging Yangtze River.
I think the river beach used to be just a rocky beach, but now it has become a beautiful scenery. This is the so-called change in Wuhan! I thought to myself: There should be more than these changes in Wuhan, there must be many, many, but we have never noticed them. Yes, some subtle changes have taken place in Wuhan in these decades, and it has become a civilized and beautiful city without people noticing it.
Today, I saw great changes in Wuhan. The city that was once "dirty, chaotic and poor" is gone forever. Now it is a rapidly developing city, but the development of the city cannot be separated from the continuous progress of science and technology. Only by studying new knowledge and mastering more advanced science and technology can we create a better home for ourselves. Let's work together to meet a better tomorrow!
