The official name of college counselors is college counselors. College counselors are teachers in colleges and universities. 1952, the state proposed to set up political counselors in colleges and universities. 1953, Tsinghua University and Peking University made a pilot request to the then Ministry of Education. Since then, many colleges and universities have established a counselor system, which is mainly engaged in political work and is the political leader of students. The business orientation of counselors is mainly divided into the following three sections:
Ideological and political education: mainly including current political education, citizen quality education and school spirit education; Class management: mainly including team management, information management, daily standard management and affairs management; Consultation and guidance: mainly including study consultation, life consultation and career consultation.
