After the Qin dynasty was destroyed, the descendants of the royal family took the country name as their surname, which was called Qin family.

2, from the surname Ji, the descendant of King Wen, taking Yi as his surname. The descendants of Zhou Gongdan's son ate and drank in Qin Yi, and later took Yi as their surname, which was called Qin's, and the history said that Qin's surname was authentic.

3. Ancient Daqin people came to China, and some took "Qin" as their surname. Daqin is the Roman Empire. During the Eastern Han Dynasty and the Jin Dynasty, Daqin sent envoys to make friends in China, and some of them stayed behind, so they handed down the surname "Qin". The ancient western regions called China Qin, and later the western countries called it Zhong.

Second, migration distribution.

In the pre-Qin period, Qin families were mainly distributed in Henan, Shaanxi, Shandong, Hubei, Hebei and other provinces. At the end of the Qin Dynasty, Qin Tong, who captured Xiang Yu from Liu Bang, was named as the marquis of Peng. From the Han Dynasty to the Southern and Northern Dynasties, Qin was also distributed in Gansu, Sichuan, Shanxi and other provinces. During the Song, Yuan and Ming Dynasties, Qin moved to Guangxi, Anhui, Guizhou, Fujian, Beijing, Shanghai and other provinces and cities. It spread more widely from Qing Dynasty to modern times, and many people emigrated overseas.

"Zhongxiao Hall": Qin Qiong's descendants were named "Zhongxiao Hall" because Qin Qiong was the founding father of the Tang Dynasty.

Huaihai Guild Hall: a descendant of Qin Shaoyou, a poet in the Song Dynasty, was called Huaihai Guild Hall because Qin Shaoyou wrote Huaihai Collection.

"Five Great Halls": Qin, Minister of Qing Dynasty, reigned for 30 years. He just introduced himself, and he is the author of General Examination of Five Rites, hence the name "Five Classics Hall".
