It is understood that cardiologists in China are facing unprecedented development opportunities and severe challenges. Cerebrovascular diseases occupy the first place in the center of disease spectrum in China, with an obvious upward trend, and there may be a "blowout" phenomenon in the next 20 years. To improve the level of prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in China, we need to give full play to the role of cardiovascular discipline. In addition to mastering technology and applying it in clinic, it is also important to establish a perfect system, and technology should be embedded in the system, which is the so-called "hard technology, soft landing".
In order to study the establishment of the admission system for cardiovascular medical specialists and strengthen the management of cardiovascular medical diagnosis and treatment technology, the Department of Medical Administration of the Ministry of Health entrusted the National Medical Examination Center to build the admission examination system for cardiovascular medical specialists, and entrusted the Chinese Medical Association to develop the national information registration system for interventional diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases (with two power of attorney attached). According to the needs of the work, with the consent of the Department of Medical Administration of the Ministry of Health, the National Physical Examination Center and the Chinese Medical Doctor Association jointly conducted a national survey of cardiovascular physicians from May to September, 201,and entrusted the cardiovascular physicians branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association to implement it. The Cardiovascular Physician Branch of the Chinese Medical Association organized and implemented a survey on the basic situation of cardiovascular physicians in China (National Examination Center Cardiovascular Physician Qualification Examination Registration Questionnaire and Chinese Medical Association 20 1 1 National Cardiovascular Physician Registration Survey), in order to understand the main distribution and qualifications of cardiovascular specialists in medical institutions at or above the county level in China, and provide policy basis and database support for future research and formulation of access standards and qualification requirements for cardiovascular specialists to participate in specialist training and examinations.
The subjects of this survey include those who have worked in general hospitals and cardiovascular specialized hospitals above the second level, have valid clinical qualifications and are currently engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of adult cardiovascular diseases, and the specific departments are not limited. In the form of questionnaire, the questionnaire consists of four parts: doctor's basic information, work situation, academic background and professional skills.
Professor Huo Yong said that through the implementation and promotion of the admission system for cardiovascular doctors and cardiovascular specialists, the level of cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment in China will develop better and more balanced. However, as a cardiologist, especially a cardiovascular interventional physician, we should not only pass the exam professionally, standardize technology and apply technology reasonably, but also emphasize prevention. Cannel, head of Framingham Heart Research, believes that "cardiovascular events are not so much the beginning of treatment as the failure of drug treatment". Clinicians should not only be satisfied with the treatment of a large number of clinical patients, but also pay attention to the upstream prevention of diseases, which is exactly what most cardiologists need to improve.
