What's the difference between a counselor and a spiritual mentor?

The difference between a psychological counselor and a spiritual mentor is that the former is a profession and the latter is an honorific title.

Psychological counselor is a professional title, and psychological counselor is a person who helps people solve various psychological problems. The most common and main target of psychological counseling is healthy people or people with psychological problems.

Healthy people will face many problems such as family, career choice, study, anxiety, depression and social adaptation. They will expect to make ideal choices, successfully spend all stages of their lives, seek the maximum play of their own abilities and seek a good quality of life. Psychological counselors can provide targeted development suggestions and give corresponding help from a psychological point of view.

The spiritual tutor is a mess. Sometimes some constellations, spirituality, tarot cards and Buddhism all claim that spiritual teachers teach each other something so-called correct or energetic, and even go astray like cults. Spiritual mentor is not equal to psychological counselor. Professional counselors don't call themselves mentors. Because the consulting relationship is equal, it does not mean that the consultant is the mentor of the visitor.
