From February 6 to 20, 2008, the second annual meeting of experience exchange of getting rich was held in Beijing, sponsored by CCTV's "Getting Rich" column. At the meeting, the latest investigation report on China people's entrepreneurship was released, which was jointly conducted by Tsinghua University China Entrepreneurship Research Center, China Agricultural University MBA Center and National Development and Reform Commission SME Cooperation and Coordination Center.
Entrepreneur Otawa is associated with the word "agriculture". At the three-day annual meeting, eight ordinary people who "make small business into big business" became this year's model "entrepreneurial heroes". Yang, a girl who grew up in rural Hebei, found a new way and began to dress up as a fat man with her thin body. Wang Chaying accumulated millions of wealth by making tofu, took the top spot in similar enterprises in Xiaoshan, and finally exported tofu to Europe and America. Zhang Shuying, a 60-year-old peasant woman in Pinggu, Beijing, started her business at the age of 44, from building materials to beverage industry and tourism. Her stubbornness and persistence made her successful, and she was called "the old lady". Zhang, a native of Hebei, went to Guangzhou to deal in fruits in his early years, and now he has opened a characteristic pumpkin planting base. The giant pumpkin he planted was bought as a work of art, and the single product sold for 8000 yuan. Li Jun, a native of Anyang, Henan Province, specializes in producing fruit paper bags. This "man who dresses fruits" has done business in six provinces all over the country, greatly enhancing the value of vegetables and fruits, with an annual profit of over one million yuan. Wu Shengying, a native of Zibo, Shandong Province, developed a new product "roasted chicken eggs" from various snack markets and entered the supermarket in one fell swoop; The most bizarre entrepreneurial hero also includes professional cattle breeder Wang Shouhong. He actually found business opportunities from cow dung, used cow dung as a training base to grow mushrooms, and now plans to sell them to overseas markets. He also invested 800,000 yuan to set up a science park, and prepared to package cow dung and sell it as a commodity.
These successful entrepreneurs are more or less related to the word "agriculture". They are either farmers, engaged in agricultural products management, or have contacts with agriculture. "They may come from a poor family, have no high education, start from scratch, but find opportunities that others can't find, find markets that others can't find, and do things that we may have done but have not done." Fu, director of the MBA Research Center of China Agricultural University, commented on these "national entrepreneurial heroes".
Start a business with 65,438+10,000 yuan. The Investigation Report on People's Entrepreneurship in China reveals the secret of the success of ordinary people's entrepreneurship. According to the report, 48% of entrepreneurs' venture capital is below 654.38+10,000 yuan, which means they can start a business with 654.38+10,000 yuan. In addition, 26-35 years old is the golden age for starting a business, and nearly half of people start a business during this period.
The report also shows that employees and farmers are the main force of entrepreneurship. Enterprise employees account for the largest proportion, accounting for 41.56%; Followed by farmers, 25. 1 1%. The proportion of male entrepreneurs is about three times that of female entrepreneurs, the former is 77% and the latter is 23%. There are significant differences in the industries that men and women choose to start businesses: the first three industries that women entrepreneurs choose are catering, wholesale and retail and information services; The top three industries chosen by male entrepreneurs are wholesale and retail, industrial processing and agricultural processing. According to the survey, the industry with low threshold and fast capital turnover is the most likely industry for ordinary entrepreneurs to succeed, and 80% of these small people's funds come from personal family savings or family loans, while the proportion of funds that can be obtained from financial institutions such as banks is relatively small.
The findings of the report also analyze the difficulties that entrepreneurs may encounter. Among them, financing, market demand, technical talents and internal management are the difficulties that entrepreneurs may face at all stages. The survey shows that 48% of entrepreneurs have experienced failure, and the failure of enterprises is recognized by most entrepreneurs because of the problem of capital turnover, followed by the wrong choice of entrepreneurial projects and the third is poor management. Entrepreneurs must have certain qualities and abilities if they want to succeed. Research shows that entrepreneurs should have five qualities: honesty and trustworthiness, interpersonal skills, innovative ideas, flexible skills and awareness of grasping opportunities. These five abilities should be: marketing ability, financial management ability, interpersonal communication ability, technical management ability and production operation ability.
At present, among the highest academic qualifications of entrepreneurs, high school education accounts for the largest proportion, followed by junior college. Compared with the time of starting a business, the overall trend of entrepreneurs' highest education is to develop in the direction of high education: the number of entrepreneurs with primary school, junior high school and high school education is decreasing, while the number of entrepreneurs with junior college, undergraduate and postgraduate education is increasing. Interestingly, entrepreneurs have the habit of reading. Nearly half of the people spend 1 to 2 hours studying every day on average. About 73% of entrepreneurs study for self-improvement and work needs.
It is reported that nearly 100 ordinary people in China who have realized their dream of wealth creation have gathered in this annual meeting and forum, and thousands of entrepreneurs from all over the country have come here to discuss the topic of people getting rich.
