Distribution range and morphological characteristics of rabbits
I. Distribution scope:
Rabbits are widely distributed in the world, mostly in deserts, grasslands, steppes, forests or Woods. It is sleepy and active at night, but quiet during the day, timid and easy to be surprised, gentle but gregarious.
Rabbits are herbivores. They feed on the roots, stems, leaves and seeds of plants and only eat their favorite foods. During the 30-35 days of gestation, each fetus gave birth to 1- 12 rabbits. The natural life span of rabbits is generally 4-9 years.
Rabbits are widely distributed all over the world. Rabbits can live in groups, but rabbits generally live alone. There are only 9 species of rabbits in China, among which grass rabbits are distributed in Europe, Asia and Africa, and China is widely distributed except South China and Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The winter hair of mountain hare turns white, which is distributed in Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia and northern Heilongjiang. Plateau rabbits are distributed in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
South China rabbits are distributed in China, South China and Taiwan Province Province, as well as neighboring South Korea. Northeast rabbits are distributed in Xiaoxing 'anling and Changbai Mountain areas in China, while Tarim rabbits are distributed in Tarim Basin, Hotan, Yecheng, shache, Bachu and Karamay in Xinjiang.

Rabbits are herbivorous vertebrates, belonging to the family Rabbiniformes. According to the body type, it can be divided into large rabbits, medium rabbits and small rabbits. The big rabbit weighs about 5 ~ 8kg (some of them exceed 8kg), the middle rabbit weighs about 2 ~ 4kg, and the small rabbit weighs about 2kg.
