Xiao Mo Highway is located in Xishuangbanna. The main line starts from the north side of Xiaomengyang Town in Jinghong City, connects with Simao-Xiaomengyang Expressway, ends near the No.29 boundary pillar in Mohan Border Trade Zone in Mengla County, and connects with Man Kun International Corridor in Laos. Xiao Mo Expressway started construction on June 65438+ 10, 2005, and is expected to be completed and opened to traffic on February 30, 2007. There are 270 large, medium and small bridges, 34 tunnels, 743 culverts, 2 overpasses 1 seat, 2 semi-overpasses 16 overpasses, 7 underpasses and 32 level crossings.
The whole Xiao Mo highway is built according to different technical standards, including three sections of expressways, with a total length of 34.2 kilometers. They are: Xiaomengyang ~ Jinghong14.2 km; Shang Yong ~ Mohan10km; Mengla territory 10 km. The rest of the road sections will be built according to the standards of secondary roads in the near future and extended to primary roads in the long term. In addition, it is related to 12km third-class highway. Compared with the original highway, the mileage of Xiao Mo Highway is shortened by 46 kilometers.
Xiao Mo Expressway is the second high-grade highway passing through the National Tropical Rainforest Reserve after Xiao Si Expressway, and has been identified as a typical demonstration project by the Ministry of Communications.
