The school has two campuses, Huaxi and Jiaxiu, covering an area of about 1300 mu. Full-time teachers 1233, including 620 with doctoral degree or above, 603 with senior titles and 900 under 45. There are 2 masters of traditional Chinese medicine, 5 national famous old Chinese medicine practitioners, 2 "Huang Qi scholars" 1, 2 "young Huang Qi scholars", "national 100 million talents project" 1, 9 provincial-level teaching masters, and more than 200 national experts and scholars such as pasting, core, provincial management and provincial famous old Chinese medicine practitioners. There are 8 provincial teaching teams and 2 provincial scientific and technological innovation teams/kloc-0.
The school has 755 doctoral supervisors, 25 doctoral supervisors and 39 part-time doctoral supervisors. In 2004, 46 doctoral students were jointly trained with Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. At present, there are 5 workshops (stations) for masters of traditional Chinese medicine, 3 workshops for famous and old Chinese medicine practitioners, 20 workshops for famous and old Chinese medicine practitioners, workshops for ethnic and folk medicine practitioners in Guizhou Province 1 each, and provincial talent training bases and talent teams 15.
