general situation
The total length of the main line is 1 12.345 km, and the connecting line is 4.354 km, with an estimated investment of 9.668 billion yuan. On February 8, 2008, construction started, and on February 23, 20, 2008, 98 kilometers of traffic mileage was completed (design of Chishi Bridge construction section).
There are 6 interchanges and 86 bridges in this project, including 7 extra-large bridges and 7 high pier bridges 17. The piers of the four extra-large bridges range from100m to180m. Four-tower cable-stayed bridge is planned to be used for Chishi Bridge in 19 contract section, and the tower height is nearly 290 meters. There are 29 tunnels, including 9 long tunnels and 3 multi-arch tunnels. The total length of bridge and tunnel accounts for about 52% of the total length of the line. The terrain along the line fluctuates greatly, with the highest relative height difference of 4 10/0m, and two long longitudinal slopes exceeding10km. Due to the complex terrain, the conditions of construction access roads are difficult, especially the access roads of Wucun Bridge and Wucun Tunnel are located on cliffs. The engineering geological conditions are complex, and there are many unfavorable geological sections such as landslides, karsts, collapses, faults and mined-out areas. The construction conditions are bad, Rucheng is the rainfall center of the whole province, and the phenomenon of freezing fog is serious. There is no ideal spoil ground near quite a few tunnels, so it is difficult to spoil the soil. Rucheng expressway is a mountainous expressway with the most difficult construction and the most complicated project among the expressway built and under construction in our province.
