Draw a graphic frame first, you can add text while drawing, or you can draw the whole frame first and then add text one by one. Using the grid, it is much easier to draw boxes of the same size (of course, you can also copy boxes of the same size directly). Pay a little attention to the distance and length and width in the middle of each box, and you can draw more beautifully, as shown below:
When you want to select multiple drawings, it is convenient to use the Select Object tool on the drawing toolbar.
Note: If you do not use grids, you must also use the Alignment and Distribution tools. To make a beautiful chart, the most important thing is the details. Remember, if you do every detail in the chart well, others may not be praised, but if you don't handle any detail well, it will definitely damage the overall image and leave a bad and unprofessional impression on others. This point cannot be overemphasized. If you find something wrong with a graphic after drawing, you need to change it to another graphic. Select the graphic, click the graphic you want to change in the AutoShape pane, and then click the Change AutoShape button below to quickly change it to another graphic.
Right-click the box, select Add text, and press CTRL+E or click the center alignment button in the toolbar to center the text. There are three boxes in the picture above, the first box has two lines, but the bottom border of the text box covers some text. At this point, right-click the text in the text box, select paragraph to open the paragraph dialog box, and adjust the internal margin value in the text box tab. The second text box in the above figure is the result of the former when the top, bottom, left and right margins are all set to 0.
After drawing a frame and adding text, you can adjust the distance between the graphics to improve the overall effect. There are several principles that must be noted:
The process of coming down from a main line must be placed on the same center line;
Graphics of the same level are placed on the same horizontal line with the same size and spacing;
Text is centered;
There are more or less characters in the graphic box on the same main line. If the same size cannot be used, the width should be changed first.
After adjustment, you can connect the lines. In the process of connecting graphic boxes, use the "connector" provided in AutoShape, and then consider using ordinary arrows, unless it can't meet your requirements.
The use of connectors is very convenient, so I won't say much here, just pay attention to the use of corresponding types of connectors in different situations. After connecting, use the Select Object tool on the Drawing toolbar to select the whole diagram to see if there are any connectors. Both endpoints of the connected connector should be red. If it is green, reconnect. The edge of the elbow connector may pass through the area of other drawings. At this point, you can drag its yellow control point so that it does not overlap with other graphics. The following is the effect after connection:
The last step is to beautify the work. Use the Selection Tool to select the whole chart, right-click to combine, add uniform decoration, cancel the display of the grid, and then put it into the document for use.
