The duties of the Trade and Industry Bureau are:
1, market supervision and management and administrative law enforcement. Responsible for market supervision and administrative law enforcement, drafting relevant laws and regulations, and formulating industrial and commercial administrative rules and policies;
2. Registration, supervision and management of market entities. Responsible for the registration, supervision and management of various enterprises, farmers' professional cooperatives, units and individuals engaged in business activities, resident representative offices of foreign enterprises and other market entities, and undertake the responsibility of investigating and banning unlicensed operations according to law;
3. Standardize and maintain the operation order of various markets according to law. To assume the responsibility of standardizing and maintaining various market orders according to law, and to supervise and manage market transactions and online commodity transactions and related services;
4. Supervise and manage the quality of commodities in the circulation field. Undertake the responsibility of supervision and management of commodity quality in the circulation field and food safety in the circulation link, organize and carry out consumer rights protection work in related service fields, investigate and deal with illegal acts such as fake and shoddy commodities according to the division of labor, guide consumers to consult, appeal, report acceptance, processing and network system construction, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of operators and consumers;
5. Investigate and deal with illegal direct selling and pyramid selling cases. Undertake the responsibility of investigating and handling illegal direct selling and pyramid selling cases, and supervise and manage direct selling enterprises, direct sellers and their direct selling activities according to law;
6. Investigate and deal with acts of unfair competition. Responsible for antitrust enforcement (except price monopoly) in monopoly agreements, abuse of market dominance and abuse of administrative power to exclude and restrict competition. Investigate and deal with unfair competition, commercial bribery, smuggling and other economic violations according to law.
