BEIJING, March 29th, 20 10 According to Hong Kong Ta Kung Pao, with the continuous advancement of the construction of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, expressway, the ring road of the Pearl River Delta, has also entered the construction stage of the whole line. According to the traffic department of Guangdong Province, the expressway is about 460 kilometers long, connecting seven prefecture-level cities of Hong Kong, Macao and the Pearl River Delta into a ring, with a total investment of about 654.38+20 billion yuan, making it the largest project in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
Among them, the Guangdong section will be completed and opened to traffic before 20 12, and the completed Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge will run through Hong Kong and Macao on 20 15, so that the three economic belts of Hong Kong-Shenzhen, Guangfo and Zhuhai-Macao will form a closed triangular rapid land network structure and truly realize the "half-day life circle" of the Greater Pearl River Delta.
As one of the five regional loop lines of the National expressway Network approved by the State Council, expressway (referred to as "Loop Expressway") of the Pearl River Delta is now officially numbered as National Highway G94, and the construction pace has been accelerated in an all-round way.
A person from the transportation department of Guangdong Province told the reporter that in the Outline of the Reform and Development Plan for the Pearl River Delta Region, the Ring Expressway has been listed as the first transportation infrastructure project that is being fully implemented, especially with the construction of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge becoming one of the key projects at the end of last year, the Ring Expressway has now entered the key stage of the whole line construction.
According to the latest plan, the Ring Expressway starts in Hong Kong, passes through Shenzhen, Dongguan, (Guangzhou) Zengcheng, Huadu, (Zhaoqing) Sihui, (Jiangmen) Heshan, Xinhui, Zhongshan, Zhuhai and Macau, and finally returns to Hong Kong, forming a big circle; It consists of Shenzhen Meiguan Expressway, Dongguan-Shenzhen Expressway, Guangzhou North Third Ring Road (Dongguan-Zengcheng-Huadu), Zhao Hua Expressway, Zhao Jiang Expressway, He Jiang Expressway, Zhongjiang Expressway, Zhongshan-Zhuhai section of Guangzhou-Zhuhai West Line, expressway coastal branch line in the west coast (from Zhongshan Yuehuan to Nanping in Zhuhai) and Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. The whole journey is about 460 kilometers. The total investment is about 654.38+02 billion yuan, which is the highest among the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bridge projects, and the investment in the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge accounts for more than 60%.
Among them, the coastal branch lines of Meiguan Expressway, Guanshen Expressway, North Third Ring Road Phase I (Zengcheng to Dongguan), He Jiang Expressway, Zhongjiang Expressway and Western Coastal Expressway have been completed and opened to traffic, accounting for about half of the total mileage of the expressway around the city; Zhao Hua expressway, with an investment of about 9.72 billion yuan, started construction this month, which indicates that the remaining sections of the Ring Expressway have entered the stage of comprehensive construction.
Except for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, which is scheduled to be completed on 20 15, all sections under construction will be completed and opened to traffic before 20 12. The whole line adopts two-way six-lane expressway standard. The design load of bridges and culverts is Class I highway, and the design speed is from 100 to120km per hour.
People in Guangdong's transportation department said that after the completion of the Ring Expressway, the three economic belts of Hong Kong-Shenzhen, Guangzhou-Foshan and Zhuhai-Macao will form a closed triangular rapid land network structure, thus obviously improving the connectivity and accessibility among cities in the Greater Pearl River Delta. Hong Kong people can use Huanggang Port-Huanggang Road-Meiguan expressway, or connect with Guangzhou-Zhuhai-Macao West expressway to the north through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and they can travel all over the seven cities in the Pearl River Delta in less than half a day, truly forming a "half-day life circle" in the Greater Pearl River Delta.
In addition, there are currently 24 planning projects involving the Pan-Pearl River Delta expressway, of which 65,438+00 are under construction. By 2065,438+02, the number of expressway going abroad in Guangdong will increase from the existing 7 to 65,438+07, and there will be more than two expressway connecting with neighboring provinces by land. By then, Hong Kong people will be able to connect with the major expressway cities in Guangdong and directly connect with other provinces and regions in the Pan-Pearl River Delta. According to the plan, by 2020, the total mileage of expressway network in Pan-Pearl River Region will reach 37,300 kilometers, and the "one-day traffic circle" between Hong Kong and the eight provincial capitals of Pan-Pearl River will be basically realized by adding docking channels.
