1, Guangzhou Medical University
Guangzhou Medical University, founded in 1958, is a full-time university which takes medicine as its advantage and features and develops multi-level personnel training for doctors, masters and undergraduates. Dongfeng West Campus is located in the center of Guangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city, with lush Yuexiu Mountain in the south and beautiful Liuhua Lake in the north. It is an ideal place for study and research. Panyu Campus is located in a newly-built town separated from Guangzhou University Town by a river, with elegant environment, advanced facilities and strong modern atmosphere.
There are 16 secondary colleges, 8 directly affiliated hospitals and 10 non-directly affiliated hospitals, 19 research institutes/centers and 19 key laboratories above the municipal level, among which the respiratory disease laboratory is the first national key laboratory among local universities in Guangdong province. The school has 1 national key disciplines, 9 national clinical key specialties and a number of provincial key disciplines and specialties, among which respiratory medicine ranks first in the country, thoracic surgery ranks fifth in the country, and clinical medicine ranks before ESI 1%.

2. Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine
Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, located in the beautiful city of Guangzhou, was founded in 1956. It is one of the first four institutions of higher learning of traditional Chinese medicine in New China. It was originally led by the Ministry of Health (now the National Health and Family Planning Commission) and state administration of traditional chinese medicine. In 2000, it was established by the central and local governments and mainly managed by Guangdong Province. It is the first institution in China with the right to confer master's and doctor's degrees, and it is recommended by master students to be exempted from the examination. The results of two undergraduate teaching level evaluations by the Ministry of Education are excellent. At present, it is a "2 1 1 engineering" key university in Guangdong province.
The school has two campuses, Guangzhou Sanyuanli and University Town, covering an area of 1.377 mu, with a construction area of more than 780,000 square meters and a total equipment value of 490 million yuan. It has a sci-tech novelty retrieval workstation, a testing center, an experimental animal center and a large indoor cultural and sports activity place of the Ministry of Education.
The school adheres to the "integrated development of universities and affiliated hospitals", with 4 directly affiliated hospitals and 26 non-directly affiliated hospitals. Teaching hospitals cover the vast majority of large and medium-sized Chinese medicine hospitals in Guangdong Province and some Chinese medicine hospitals in neighboring provinces. Among them, the First, Second and Third Affiliated Hospitals form a specialized disease technology group with 43 national key specialties as the leader. There are more than 5,000 beds, and the total number of outpatient visits exceeds 6,543,800+million. Comprehensive strength is among the best in China. The Second Affiliated Hospital (Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine) pioneered the clinical research center of traditional Chinese medicine in public hospitals in Hong Kong, and was praised as the national model of medical ethics. The total number of outpatient clinics has remained the first in the country for nearly 20 years.

3. Southern Medical University
Southern Medical University, formerly known as the First Military Medical University of Chinese People's Liberation Army, was founded in 195 1, 1979 and was designated as a national key university. In 2004, it was approved as one of the eight universities in China to pilot eight-year medical education. In August, 2004, according to the orders issued by the State Council and the Central Military Commission, it was transferred to Guangdong Province as a whole. There are two campuses, Headquarters and Shunde Campus, with an area of1766,800 square meters and a building area of 846,700 square meters. The discipline covers seven major disciplines: medicine, science, engineering, literature, management, law and economics. At present, there are 10 first-class disciplines authorized by doctoral degrees (clinical medicine, basic medicine, public health and preventive medicine, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, Chinese medicine, biomedical engineering, biology, pharmacy, nursing and special medicine) and 7 post-doctoral research stations (basic medicine, clinical medicine, biomedical engineering, public health and preventive medicine, biology and special medicine). It has three national key disciplines (human anatomy and histology and embryology, internal medicine (digestive diseases), clinical practice of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine), two national key training disciplines (pathology and pathophysiology surgery (extra-osseous)) and five national key disciplines of traditional Chinese medicine (kidney disease of traditional Chinese medicine, pharmacy of traditional Chinese medicine, encephalopathy of traditional Chinese medicine, and arthralgia of traditional Chinese medicine).
