Lean County is a county under the jurisdiction of Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, China. Lean is located in the middle of Jiangxi Province and southwest of Fuzhou City. It is between east longitude 1 15 35' and north latitude 16 10' and north latitude 26 50' ... it is connected with Chongren and Yihuang in the east, Xingan and Yongfeng in the west, Ningdu in the south and Fengcheng in the north. The county is about 85 kilometers long from north to south and 48 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 24 12.59 square kilometers, accounting for 12.8% of the city, ranking first. The population in 2003 was 349,000.

Le 'an has a long history, belonging to Wu in the Spring and Autumn Period, Yue in the early Warring States Period, Chu in the Zhou Dynasty, Jiujiang County in the Qin Dynasty, Nancheng County in the Western Han Dynasty, Linru County in the Eastern Han Dynasty, Linchuan County in the Three Kingdoms Period and Chongren County in the Sui Dynasty. In the 19th year of Shaoxing in Nanning (A.D. 1 149), a county system was established, which governed the four townships of Genius, Lean, Loyalty and Yungai, and was named after one township. After the establishment of the county, it belonged to Fuzhou, Fuzhou Road in Yuan Dynasty, Fuzhou House in Ming and Qing Dynasties, Yuzhang Road in Minde Year, and the seventh administrative jurisdiction. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, it belonged to Fuzhou area. The county people's government has been established in Aoxi Town for 855 years. At present, there are 9 towns, 6 townships (Zhu Jin Township is an ethnic township) and 1 reclamation area.
