Xia Ji Town (1978 renamed Xia Ji) is located at the northern end of Linwei District, 28km away from Weinan City. Xia Ji Town, formerly known as Lu 'an, is one of the ancient market towns in Linwei District.
Xia Ji town is full of talented people. Zhang Renyuan, a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty, Bai Juyi and Kou Zhun, famous poets in the Song Dynasty, were all born or lived here, so they are called "the land of three sages". Former Vice Chairman Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and former Deputy Director Li of Shaanxi Provincial People's Congress were also born in Xiguan Village and Jianzhuang Village respectively. Places of interest include Zhao Hui Temple (Golden Temple), Pagoda (Song Dynasty), Xia 'ao County site in Qin and Han Dynasties and Jingxian Academy site.
Zhang Renyuan (? -7 14), whose real name is Ren Shan, whose alias is Ren Yuan, is from Xiaguan, Huazhou. He used to be an imperial adviser in the temple, a secretariat of Youzhou, a secretariat of Bingzhou, a general of Tunwei, a secretariat of Luozhou and a general of Shuofang Army. In the spring of the second year of Jinglong (708), he was appointed as a general, a third-class Chinese scholar, worshipped as prime minister, and made Han Gong. He was a rare prime minister with both civil and military skills in the whole Tang Dynasty, because he was not good at politics, strictly enforced the law, properly employed people, and "strictly obeyed the officials" to the generals, just like Li Jing, Guo and Tang.
Bai Juyi (772-846), whose name was Lotte, was a Buddhist in Xiangshan. Originally from Taiyuan (now Shanxi), he moved to Xiaao when he was his great-grandfather. In his later years, the official was the Prince with less Fu, and posthumous title was Bai Fu and Bai Wengong. He actively advocated the new Yuefu movement in literature, arguing that articles should be written in time and poems should be written for things. He wrote many poems lamenting the times and reflecting the sufferings of the people, which had a great influence on later generations.
Kou Zhun (96 1- 1023) was born in Xiaao County, Huasong County. He was a famous politician in the Northern Song Dynasty. Kou Zhun has been very clever since he was a child. When I was seven years old, I went to Huashan with my father, leaving "only the sky is above, and there is no mountain harmony." Look up at the red sun and look down at the white clouds. 19 years old, went to the capital of song dynasty (Kaifeng) to take the exam. He served as a judge in Dali, served as an army in Daming House, and was later promoted to be a doctor of Shangshu Dangerous Department. Because of his integrity, Song Taizong praised him: "I got Kou Zhun, and Jude got Wei Zhi. ".
