Jiangxi Vocational College of Information Application is the only public information college approved by Jiangxi Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. The school originated from the training course for meteorological cadres held by Jiangxi Meteorological Bureau on 1956+00, and Nanchang Meteorological School was established on 1977. The school 1980 was managed by China Meteorological Bureau, and was managed by Jiangxi Meteorological Bureau in 2000. 1994 was rated as a national key middle school.
In 2002, Nanchang Meteorological School became the first batch of colleges in the province and was renamed Jiangxi Vocational and Technical College of Information Application. In 20 12, it became the first batch of pilot colleges in China to directly recruit non-commissioned officers. 202 1 Training college students jointly with Jiangxi Agricultural University.
