Chengdu Railway Secondary Specialized School, referred to as Chengdu Tiezhong for short, is a first-class demonstration school (national key middle school) in Sichuan Province and the first batch of provincial key middle schools in Sichuan Province. Ranked first in Chengdu when the first batch of provincial key middle schools were evaluated and accepted. It is one of the six schools in Chengdu approved by Chengdu Education Bureau to recruit foreign students, ranking the top five in Chengdu in the college entrance examination. Provincial education experts say Tiezhong is "the most competitive high school in Chengdu", and the education of "low entrance and high exit, excellent AG" is called "Tiezhong phenomenon" by the education circle.
The school was founded in 1962 and was originally a children's middle school of Chengdu Railway Bureau. 1986, the first batch was identified as provincial key middle schools by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education. 1992, when the first batch of provincial key middle schools were evaluated and accepted in the whole province, they obtained excellent grades and ranked first among the test schools in Chengdu. 1994 was rated as one of the first 30 provincial key middle schools in Sichuan province. 200 1 has been included in the evaluation and acceptance plan of "National Model High School" in 2004 by the Provincial Education Department and the Municipal Education Bureau. In 2004, due to the separation of the main and auxiliary state-owned large and medium-sized enterprises, they were placed in jinniu district, and the school for children of enterprises was transformed into a public school. In 2008, in order to integrate high-quality educational resources, Chengdu Tiezhong merged with Chengdu 3 1 Middle School separated by a wall. In 20 1 1 and 20 12 years, Chengdu Tiezhong Fuhe Campus and Qionglai Campus were established one after another, which increased the scale and influence of Chengdu Tiezhong.
