Japanese Name: (Zen Temple)

It is said that the Zen Temple, which was built in the 7th century, is the tourist center of Nagano, and tourists from all over Japan are coming in an endless stream. Through the Wang Ren Gate of the city gate, you can see the mountain gate about 20 meters high at the end of Ginseng Road. This mountain gate has been designated as an important national cultural heritage. This temple has a double-layer structure with cypress bark as the roof, and the word "Zen Temple" hanging on the front is written in the shape of a dove, which is famous far and near. This temple in the depths of the mountain gate has been designated as a national treasure, and it is the third largest wooden structure in Japan. It was rebuilt in 1707.

The Buddha statue of Amitabha, the main Buddha, is a "secret Buddha" that is not allowed to visit publicly at ordinary times. Only once every seven years, in front of the avatar Buddha, the main Buddha is open to visit, and at other times, he can only indirectly contact the "secret Buddha". There is a dark cloister under the main Buddha. Visitors can walk around here and experience the altar tour when monks are ordained. It is said that when you visit the altar, you can reach the Elysium by touching the lock hanging directly below the main Buddha. Here, you can also visit many statues, such as the "Fufo" to protect children.
