Kimura Ibee rewards how many people stand for election in each session.

Ibee Kimura awards six candidates for each election. The Ibee Kimura Photography Award, sponsored by Asahi Shimbun, was established on 1975 to commemorate the great achievements of Japanese photographer Ibee in photography and to commend the new generation of photographers who have performed well in photography production and publishing activities from 1 to 12 every year. Among them, photo publishing includes works published in magazines, photo albums, exhibitions and other forms.
