Chinese patent medicines include pills, powder, ointment, pills, gel, dew, wine, ingots and other dosage forms. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, with the progress of science and technology and pharmaceutical industry, many new dosage forms and varieties of Chinese patent medicines have been added, such as tablets, granules, syrups, dropping pills, controlled-release agents and soft capsules. There are about 4000 species so far. The research and application of Chinese patent medicine has been prosperous. Chinese patent medicines, in particular, are widely used in Chinese and western hospitals all over the country.
Chinese patent medicine is a textbook to study and clarify the clinical application and production of commonly used Chinese patent medicine, but there is no special Chinese patent medicine textbook in Chinese university textbooks. To this end, we compiled this book.
This book is revised on the basis of the textbook "Chinese patent medicine" compiled by our school. This book is suitable for students, clinical interns and advanced students majoring in traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese pharmacy in colleges and universities of traditional Chinese medicine, and can be used as a necessary reference book for clinicians and teachers.
With the full support of People's Health Publishing House, the book was published as scheduled with the joint efforts of colleagues in Chinese medicine colleges and universities all over the country.
