What is the cause of this grain on pepper?
Pepper fruit cracking, first, water imbalance, high temperature and dry weather or after a long drought, sudden rain, when the water is sufficient, the fruit expands rapidly and the pulp grows fast, resulting in uneven growth of peel and pulp, leading to fruit cracking. Second, the nutrition is unbalanced, the amount of nitrogen fertilizer is too large, and calcium, potassium and boron are insufficient, which easily leads to fragile pericarp cells, poor pericarp development and fruit cracking. Therefore, we should pay more attention to soil moisture, reduce the use of high nitrogen fertilizer, supplement medium and trace elements such as calcium, magnesium, boron and zinc, apply micro-root calcium and micro-vein magnesium to promote root protection and reduce pepper cracking.
