China Bank Personal Remittance Processing Flow

(1) Overseas remittance business can be divided into express remittance products and direct remittance products according to the payment methods of products. Express remittance products refer to the identity documents, remittance amount and related information of the remitter and payee provided by the remitter when remitting money abroad or in China. After the above information is sent to the remitter, the remitter will generate a remittance settlement code and notify the remitter (in case of remittance, the bank will notify the remitter on behalf of the remitter), and the remitter must notify the payee of the remittance settlement code himself. When paying money, the payee will provide the remittance payment code and other related information with his ID card, and then handle cash withdrawal or transfer withdrawal after verification.

Direct entry products refer to the identity documents of the remitter, the remittance amount, the information of the remitter and the payee, and the information of the collection agent bank and the collection account when remittance is made abroad or in China. The remittance company sends the above information to the collecting bank in the way agreed with the collecting bank, and the collecting bank directly deposits the money into the collection account designated by the payee after verifying the relevant information.

The "relevant information" mentioned in this article includes, but is not limited to: name or title, contact telephone number (when remitting money, it refers to the remitter), address (contact address), receiving country and region (when remitting money only), remittance purpose, etc. In remittance business, the name of the country and city where overseas institutions can register to receive remittances is unclear. In remittance business, remitters can register to send remittances to this country. The specific information should meet the local regulatory requirements of the importing and exporting countries.
