Beijing-Lhasa Expressway (national expressway network number G6, referred to as Beijing-Tibet Expressway, also known as Beijing-Lhasa Expressway). It starts in Beijing and ends in Lhasa, Xizang Autonomous Region, passing through Beijing, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai and Tibet, with a total length of about 37 10 km. Expressway is an important part of national expressway network.
Passing through major cities: Beijing-Zhangjiakou-Jining-Hohhot-Baotou-Bayannaoer-Wuhai-Yinchuan-Wuzhong-Zhongwei-Baiyin-Lanzhou-Xining-Golmud-Lhasa.
At present, the Beijing-Xining section has been fully opened to traffic, and the Xining-Lhasa section is still in the planning stage due to geological conditions and other reasons, and there is no specific commencement date.
Yinchuan-Zhongwei Section and G70 Yin Fu Expressway Double Track. Part of the planned route includes the Beijing-Lhasa section of the former national trunk line Danla.
