Developing new energy vehicles is a golden opportunity. In the past, from animals as transportation power to the industrial revolution, steam engines and internal combustion engines were used as transportation power. Now, the scientific and technological revolution with the rapid development of electrification, intelligence and networking technology has pushed the automobile industry to a new round of revolution!
National policies and guidelines have promoted the development of new energy technologies. The technologies of lithium battery, lithium iron ternary and lithium ferrous phosphate have matured, while the technologies of hydrogen energy, sodium ion battery and solar energy are still developing. The development of new energy technology promotes the substitution of electric vehicles for fuel vehicles, promotes the zero net emission of transportation system, and finally realizes the carbon neutrality of the peak carbon dioxide emission in 2030 and 2060.
A new generation of information technology, biotechnology, new materials and high-end equipment manufacturing technology have become the technical basis of the automobile industry revolution. Zero-run cars firmly believe that the data collection of autonomous driving technology is based on the collection of pictures and videos. Zero-run cars have inherent advantages in the original technology, plus leading in AI algorithm. Zero-run self-developed Lingxin 0 1 autopilot chip, and AI algorithm ranked first in Google waymo real-time 2D detection and waymo 2D tracking. On August 202 1, 7607 cars were ordered and 4488 cars were delivered. In April/June, the number of insured vehicles, the zero-running single model ranked third in the new force car series! Originally planned to achieve T03 7300 orders in June 5438+February, now 7228 orders have been completed in August, almost ahead of schedule.
The development of the new car-making forces faces three major challenges: the financial challenge that requires continuous investment ability; The challenge of automobile production qualification and rapid expansion of production capacity; The challenge of obtaining a large number of excellent and all kinds of talents needed to build a car.
The first is the challenge of funds!
Our goal is that the number of users will grow rapidly at a certain point, and the annual sales volume will reach 800,000 units in 2025. When the number of users reaches a certain number, the gross profit will quickly turn positive and the gross profit will increase rapidly. Such a goal is to continuously invest in product research and development and business model innovation through continuous financing.
At present, the main financing method of the new forces is equity financing until issuing shares in the open market. Since the beginning of this year, * * * has raised 8.8 billion yuan, including 4.3 billion yuan in June 5438+ 10 and 4.5 billion yuan in August. An initial public offering is also planned. We need more financing methods: such as bond financing, trust financing, credit financing, project bank loans and so on. We hope to get the support of all kinds of financial institutions, including investment banks, funds, brokers and banks, especially financial enterprises that can develop specialized financial products for the new forces.
The second is the challenge of production capacity.
The new forces of building cars are constantly hitting new heights every month. In T03, August, 7228 orders were completed in zero run, basically reaching the goal of 65438+February ahead of schedule. Together with the C165,438+0 delivered in June, 65,438+this year, the monthly sales volume of Zero Run will exceed 65,438+02,000 units. There will be a new car coming out next year. In this way, 400,000 units in 23 years, 600,000 units in 24 years and 800,000 units in 25 years can be expected and realized. Insufficient production capacity, the challenge of continuing to expand production capacity is particularly prominent. The method of capacity expansion is nothing more than building new factories, buying excess capacity from other enterprises and OEM. However, the new construction faces problems such as land, capital and preconditions for capacity expansion; The acquisition faces debt problems, capital problems and personnel integration problems; OEM production is faced with the problems of various capabilities of OEM enterprises. Therefore, the challenge of capacity expansion is very great.
The third is the challenge of talent!
Our company is obviously short of talents in the automobile industry in Hangzhou, especially in R&D and management of electric vehicles. We have increased from 1200 at the beginning of this year to 3300 now, and the demand for talents is very great! Because there is no large international joint venture automobile brand in Hangzhou, the gap between the number of automobile talents and the ability of outstanding talents in Hangzhou is uneven, which is very obvious! Difficulties in the flow of talents, children's pressure to go to school, contact with doctors, high housing prices, the pressure of the other spouse's employment and the pressure of providing for the elderly have all caused various obstacles to the cross-city flow of talents. It is very difficult and costly for us to obtain talents in other provinces and cities. Compared with the salary of international talents, the cost of middle and senior management talents in China has far exceeded the level of developed countries. The entry of international talents into China is also a topic.
Despite many challenges, we insist on "fast" as the key to breaking the game. Technology needs "fast" iteration, sales volume needs "fast" growth, user experience needs "fast" improvement, and cost needs to be optimized quickly. Overcome the challenge and sprint with all your strength!
