According to the planning requirements, the planned exhibition halls, libraries, youth activity centers, grand theaters, art galleries, urban complexes and other public facilities around the central lake of the new district will all meet the three-star standard stipulated in the National Evaluation Standard for Green Buildings.

According to reports, Zhengding New District focuses on building a national high-end service industry growth point, a modern service industry growth pole in Hebei Province and a provincial high-end modern service industry demonstration zone, focusing on developing modern high-end industries such as headquarters economy, financial services, scientific research and development, cultural exhibitions and service outsourcing, and refusing all industrial enterprises within 30 square kilometers of the starting area.
Since the beginning of this year, the new area has received more than 120 strategic investors and well-known enterprises such as China State Construction Engineering Corporation, Beijing Urban Construction Group, Hong Kong Changjiang Infrastructure Company and Dalian Wanda Real Estate Company, and signed cooperation agreements on infrastructure and functional projects with a total investment of 90 billion yuan.

The core of the new district includes two aspects:

It is understood that the construction of the new district is divided into three stages; Among them, the starting area starts from Wu Zhi Highway in the north, Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway in the west, Hutuo River in the south and the east side of Taihang Street in the east, with an area of 30 square kilometers and can accommodate about 200,000 people. The new area will use the "three horizontal and four vertical" road system to build the basic development skeleton of the starting area.
