Approved by the State Ministry of Fisheries in 2003 and 2004, the Permit for Domestication of Aquatic Wild Animals and the Permit for Management and Utilization of Aquatic Wild Animals allow the breeding of second-generation turtles, commercial turtles and breeding turtles. There are modern farms, covering an area of 2,000 square meters, with nearly 20,000 turtles.
