When people see other people get hurt because they don't know why, people will panic, and they will be afraid that they will get hurt for some unknown reasons. So they must sum up a reason to explain why that person was hurt, so as to comfort themselves, as long as I don't, I won't be hurt. So for our example, if those commentators are men, they may worry that their wives, daughters or any women they care about will also be molested, so they have to convince themselves that those molested women are hurt because they wear revealing clothes and travel alone at night. As long as my daughter and wife are not like this, they are safe. If those commentators are women, they are worried about themselves.
So after studying psychology, you will find that your perspective on the world will change. You will find that some people may not be as annoying as we think, but they may just be a group of people in need.
