Where is the city called the star?

The city known as the star is Changsha.

Changsha City is located in the eastern and northern part of Hunan Province, downstream of Xiangjiang River, and on the western edge of Changliu Basin. It is adjacent to Yichun and Pingxiang in Jiangxi Province in the east, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan in the south, Loudi and Yiyang in the west and Yueyang and Yiyang in the north. Changsha is the capital of Hunan Province and the first batch of national historical and cultural cities, also known as "Star City".

Changsha is called Star City for many reasons. One theory is that the name of Changsha comes from the stars in the sky, because the ancients divided the stars in the sky into 28 stars, one of which is called Chu and Jing. Changsha was originally the city of Chu and Jing, so Changsha was named after this star, also known as Star City.
