The highway starts from Dongyao Village, Dongdong Town, wenxi county, connects with Dayun expressway and Wenhe expressway under construction, crosses 3 counties 1 1 townships and 59 administrative villages, and connects with Ji (former) Shao (former) expressway in Henan Province at the junction of Shanxi and Henan provinces, with a total length of 82.812km. The construction standard is two-way four-lane expressway, with Dongzhen North on the whole line. Among them, Dongzhen North is a hub interchange, and the rest are service interchanges. The estimated investment of this road is 4,393.04 million yuan, which was started on August 20, 2008, with a construction period of 29 months. After two years and one month's unremitting efforts by more than 8,000 contractors, the project was completed ahead of schedule, and was officially opened to traffic at 8: 65438 am on February 8 with the approval of the Provincial Department of Transportation and the Provincial expressway Administration.

Wen Yuan expressway started construction on August 5, 2008. The whole line adopts four-lane expressway technical standard, in which the design speed of Yuanqu Zhang Pu-Jiangxian cold mouth section is 80 km/h and the subgrade width is 24.5 m; Cold exit in Jiangxian County to Wenxi East Town, with design speed of 100 km/h and subgrade width of 26 meters. The design vehicle load level of the whole bridge and culvert is a first-class highway, and service areas are set up in Jiangxian and Yuanqu respectively. In addition to Wenxi East Town North Transfer Hub, there are also five exits in Hengshui, Yuanqu New City, Huafeng, Yan Ying and Zhang Pu. There are 4 tunnels and 3 extra-large bridges along the whole line.
There are three extra-large bridges in Wen Yuan project, the longest one is 2116m, and the longest tunnel is 3.67km. The total length of tunnels in the whole project is 9.2 1 km, with 84 large and medium-sized bridges and 256 culvert passages, accounting for 82.81/kloc-0 of the whole project.
