How to adjust the color of oil painting?

The color matching method of avatar and face is as follows:

1, mixed with a little oil color in cooked brown. Dip this color with a stiff brush and transfer the prepared sketch to the drawing board. In this step, we should pay great attention to the scale structure. When modifying, we only need to erase some strokes with cloth and then redraw them, as shown in the following figure:

2. Apply a small amount of cooked ochre diluted with colored oil to the hair of the character with a brush. The amount of colored oil should not be too much, and the specific amount can only be grasped through continuous practice. But if the picture becomes oily after using the colored oil, it must be that the amount of colored oil is too large. In this step, the background is drawn with a mixture of ivory black, white and ultramarine. When drawing the background, color directly on the drawing board, and the picture color should be fine, as shown below.

3. Paint the dark part of the hair with mature brown, and keep the shadow transparent to show the brightness of the drawing board, as shown in the figure below.

4, along the curve of the hair, use a clean mink brush to apply Napp yellow to the brightest part of the hair. Melt the four sides of the brightest part of the hair into the basic color of the hair, but keep the strong color in the middle of the bright area. Be careful not to paint opaque Nappe yellow into the transparent shadow of the previous step, as shown in the figure below.

5. Draw the shadows of the face, neck and chest with the thin gray of ivory black and white tones to make it transparent. Then paint gray on all parts of the figure's turning and leaning back, such as the outline of cheeks and chest. Each bristle brush is used in a different color, as shown in the figure below.

6. Apply the intermediate tones of khaki, white and French vermilion to the light areas of the face and chest. This color should overlap the edge of the skin color, so there is no blank on the drawing board. Add cinnabar to eyelids, cheeks, nose and mouth, as shown in the figure below.

7. In wet painting, use ripe brown to highlight the five senses of the head and face, as shown in the figure below.

8. First use a big bristle brush to melt the color in one direction, and then melt the color in the opposite direction. This color fusion only softens the color and does not change the existing contour. Continue to improve the picture, modify all the basic brightness, modify the skin color, gray and ripe brown with different brushes, and then use vermilion to represent the reflection under the nose and chin, as shown below.

9. Apply the bright tones of white and khaki to the highlights of the skin. Due to the characteristics of lead and white, this mixed color is thick and opaque, which can highlight the highlight area above the skin color. Be careful not to paint your skin too bright, because there is no pure white skin color in real life, as shown below.

10. Dip different brushes in different colors to further improve the shape of the head. When modifying each stroke, use a brush to brush back and forth from light to dark, as shown below.

1 1. Re-highlight the highlight area of skin color and soften the edge color. Depicting details, emphasizing the deep shadow of nostrils and lip line. The highlight area is not pure white but flesh color, as shown in the figure below.

Extended data:

Several drawing tools:

(1) carbon rod. Charcoal sticks and sticks are both suitable for sketching on canvas or wood. Charcoal bars have better performance because they are lighter, easier to erase and more flexible to use. Carbon rods can leave thick lines to make the outline clearer.

(2) charcoal pen. Thin lines are more suitable for drawing details. Some people do not advocate the use of pencils, thinking that lead printing will come up from under the color layer of oil painting.

(3) colored chalk and crayons. It is not easy to use too much on canvas. Avoid using white or light colors. Too much use of colored chalk or crayons in this kind of sketch will make the foundation unstable.

(4) Watercolor and acrylic color. Very thin watercolor will not have any influence on the color coverage of oil painting. If you want a thick coat, use acrylic color.

(5) ink painting. Painting and calligraphy with China ink is very interesting. Ink lines can be covered with oil painting color or kept, and are not easy to be washed off by turpentine.

(6) carbon paper. You can copy the sketch on the paper to the canvas. In the sketch stage, hair gel, glue and other fixatives are essential. It is necessary to spray a layer of fixing solution on materials that are easy to fall off or flood. In addition, all kinds of erasers and rags are also essential items.
