Brief introduction of Fuqing temple

Fuqing Temple is located in Datang Village, Datong Township, tunchang. Formerly known as "Fuluan", it was originally set up by the abbot Lin Jizhong Biqiuni in the Qing Dynasty. Teachers are diligent and proficient in scripture; Abide by precepts and Buddhist books; Buddha shows his spirit, and scholars do their best; Buddhist nun has a good reputation and is kind and kind. In the 14th year of Qing Qianlong (A.D. 1749), Master Yuan De expanded and renovated the buddhist nun, with glazed tiles with bamboo walls. Daxiong Hall is magnificent against the backdrop of buildings such as Tianwang Hall, Wei Tuo Hall, Cihang Hall and Bell and Drum Tower. In the fourth year of Xianfeng (BC 1854), when he respected the abbot of the temple, he renamed the "Fulu Temple" as "Xinqing Temple". In the 24th year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 190 1 year), Master Anfapuzhen became the abbot and was renamed Fuqing Temple. In the 19th year of the Republic of China (A.D. 1930), when Master Yu was the abbot of buddhist nun, he invited a large number of Tibetan and Chinese classics, such as Tanzong, Twenty-one Green Tara, and Jin Gang Jie Yi Xiu Yi Fa, to be hidden in buddhist nun. At that time, there were many monks and nuns, and the temple entered its heyday. Finally, it was renamed "Fuqing Temple". This temple was robbed during the Cultural Revolution. 1March, 982, religious policy was implemented, led by Buddhist Mo Tianchao, Wang Hongpei and Zhang Xianjue. Adhering to the legacy of the former teacher, he generously donated money to repair the temple and give scriptures, and finally restored the prosperity of Fuqing Temple. 1995, it was granted a religious activity license by the Hainan Provincial Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs.
