Yimeng Mountain Tourist Area Yishan Scenic Area belongs to the main vein of Yimeng Mountain, at the eastern end of Taiyi Mountain, 45 kilometers south of Linqu County, Weifang City. Now it is a national AAAA tourist area, a national forest park, a national water conservancy scenic spot and a red revolutionary base in China. Close to provincial highway 227 (Donghong Road) and 6 kilometers away from Yishan exit of Shen Chang Expressway (G25), the traffic is very convenient.
Yishan, known as Haiyue in ancient times, is known as Mount Tai in the East, ranking first among the five famous towns in China. Magnificent mountains, lush vegetation and numerous springs, with more than 200 peaks and 6 springs in the territory. Its steep peaks, rugged rocks, verdant valleys and beautiful waters set each other off, with a forest coverage rate of 98.6%. It is a unique "natural oxygen bar". Yishan is a famous cultural mountain with a long history. Ten dynasties and sixteen emperors once offered sacrifices to the emperor. History shows that the Yellow Emperor once climbed Mount Yi in Dengfeng. Zhao Shun closed the mountain and defined the mountain as an important town. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty paid a personal visit and ordered the etiquette officer to worship him. The Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties printed many times, but the sacrificial ceremony was not abolished. Many literati, emperors and generals, and holy monks boarded the Range Rover to preach, leaving a large number of poems, inscriptions and cliff statues. As the holy land of World War II, the people of Yishan provided a great deal of manpower, material resources and rear support for the victory of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation. After the Meng Lianggu War, Marshal Chen Yi and General Su Yu led troops to rest in Yishan area. Based on this, China People's Liberation Army General Political Opera Troupe's Chen won 1982 "National Excellent Screenplay Award", which was staged many times all over the country and had a wide influence.
