1, packaging difference
Boxed CPU is a CPU sold in the form of a clearly marked single box through formal channels. Usually, a boxed CPU contains a radiator, but only one CPU has no box.
2. Differences in after-sales service
Boxed CPU has a long warranty period and is free for three years. The warranty period of batch CPU is short, and the official does not provide warranty. You need to find a dealer to guarantee for one year.
3. According to different sales channels, CPU can be divided into two categories, one is supplied to brand-name machine manufacturers, and the other is supplied to the retail market. Boxed products are mostly in the retail market, while batch cpu comes from the leak of brand-name machine manufacturers, the sales strategy of agents or foreign smuggling.
4. Different from the original radiator, the boxed CPU comes with the original CPU radiator fan, and there is silicone grease at the bottom, so users don't need to buy it separately (note: some boxed CPUs don't come with the radiator). Bulk does not have its own original radiator, so it needs to be matched with a third-party CPU radiator.
5. The price difference. Take Intel's eighth generation Core i5 8400 processor as an example. At present, the bulk i5 8400 is less than 1,000 yuan, and the boxed price is 1.499 yuan. The difference between the two is about 500 yuan, which shows that large CPU has more price advantage.

The difference between CPU parts and boxes
First of all, the sources are different.
Boxed CPU is sold as a regular commodity, that is, after Intel produces CPU, it is packaged, added with the serial number of the product, and then handed over to the customs for circulation. Single-chip CPU is used as the raw material of computer components.
For example, Lenovo's computer uses Intel's CPU, so Lenovo will go to Intel to wholesale a large number of CPU. If you repackage these CPUs used to make the whole machine or notebook, it will be wasted, so these CPUs will be taken directly from the production line and piled up for OEM.
Second, the warranty is different.
Because the box is a commodity, it has a serial number and a warranty. You can check the CPU by serial number in intel official website, and you can also see the warranty status. Intel's warranty for CPU is that it will be replaced free of charge within 3 years without man-made damage, and CPU with K can be replaced free of charge if it is overclocked (I wonder if there is any change in policy).
Because the spare parts are wholesaled by enterprises and flow into the ordinary market through special means, there is no serial number and warranty in essence. The so-called store warranty is meaningless, because something as complicated as CPU can't be repaired if it is broken. If the capacitor is lost, it can be repaired. If the interior is damaged, it can only be replaced with a new one, and maintenance is meaningless.
