Health standards for those who voluntarily donate bone marrow hematopoietic stem cells;
Anyone who is 18-45 years old and passes the following physical examinations can become a donor of bone marrow hematopoietic stem cells:
1. alanine aminotransferase (ALT) < = 25 units.
2. Hepatitis B virus surface antigen (HBsAg): negative < = LNG/ml.
3. Hepatitis C virus antibody (HCV): negative
4. HIV antibody: negative
5. Syphilis test: negative
Methods and steps of voluntary donation of bone marrow hematopoietic stem cells;
1. Those who are of school age, healthy and willing to donate bone marrow can call the hotline of China Bone Marrow Bank to register, or register with the Red Cross Society at or above the county level, and fill in the Voluntary Donation Book and related forms.
2. The Bone Marrow Bank or the Red Cross will arrange for you to have a 5ml blood test, and store the HLA typing results in the computer of the China Hematopoietic Stem Cell Donor Database for patients to find a match.
3. The donor and the recipient have the same initial matching, and the staff of the bone marrow bank will introduce the donation process to you in detail and invite you to have a general examination.
When you donate, you are completely awake. The total amount of peripheral blood hematopoietic stem cells collected from your arm is about 50 ml, and the rest of the blood is collected back into the body by machine.
Donating hematopoietic stem cells will not affect health;
