Zhao, vice president and technical director of Coca-Cola, said that the global center of this investment is the sixth world-class technological innovation and center of Coca-Cola Company, and the new center will have more than 200 employees, five times the size of the existing Shanghai center. The project also includes concentrated solution factory, packaging research and development, cold drink equipment research and development and China headquarters building. Compared with the other five R&D centers, China R&D Center will focus on developing non-carbonated beverages for the Asian market, and the next step will be to increase R&D including fruit juice and tea drinks.
