Brief introduction of Zhangzhou Health Vocational College;
Zhangzhou Health Vocational College (formerly Zhangzhou Medical Nursing Vocational College) is a full-time public higher vocational college. Its predecessor is Zhangzhou Health School of Fujian Province, a national key middle school founded in 1934, and a pilot university of the "Excellent Doctor Education and Training Program" of the Ministry of Education.
The college has set up seven teaching departments: nursing department, clinical medicine and medical technology department, pharmacy department and basic medicine department, public foundation department, information technology department and adult education department.
The Department of Clinical Medical Technology was established in 2005. Its predecessor was the Clinical Department of Zhangzhou Health School. There are nine teaching and research sections (internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, preventive medicine, Chinese medicine, stomatology, rehabilitation and imaging) and a clinical skills training center.
At present, the Department of Clinical Medical Technology has six higher vocational specialties, including clinical medicine, stomatology, rehabilitation medicine, medical imaging, medical electronic instruments and maintenance, and health information management, and 1 rural medical secondary vocational specialty. Among them, the specialty of clinical medicine was founded in 1958, which is the earliest and longest traditional backbone specialty of the college. For more than half a century, a large number of practical medical talents have been trained for grassroots medical and health units in our province, and the quality of graduates has been affirmed and praised by the industry.
The Department of Clinical Medical Technology has good training conditions inside and outside the school. The campus clinical skills training center has a building area of about 2,880 square meters and advanced equipment, integrating teaching, training, appraisal and qualification examination, and has become a good base for students to carry out professional skills training.
