Engineering introduction
Jiulong River Bridge and its wiring project is an important part of Longjiang Road in Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, and is a key construction project of provinces and cities. It starts from Narcissus Street in the north and connects with Planning Road in the south, with a total length of 2 180m, in which the total length of the bridge is 1304.9m, and the main bridge is 372m long and 43m wide. It is a crescent-shaped five-span continuous beam arch composite bridge, and it is the first special-shaped arch bridge with concrete filled steel tube in our province. The project is designed according to the first-class highway standard (with the function of urban secondary trunk road), with six lanes in two directions and the designed driving speed of 60 km/h.

structural system
The main bridge of this bridge is a composite system of rigid beam and flexible arch, with a span of 40+67+ 158+67+48m and a length of 372m. The approach bridge is a prestressed concrete continuous box girder bridge.
The main bridge consists of three stress systems, namely, two left and right prestressed concrete continuous beams with variable cross sections and an independent concrete filled steel tube arch in the middle. The two continuous beam bridges are connected into a whole by the beam between the main spans, and then the beam is hoisted by the main and auxiliary suspenders, so that the three stress systems share the dead load and live load in the second phase.
The clear distance between the left and right auxiliary bridges is 3.7m, so that the arch rib can pass through the middle. The width of each bridge is 1.25m, and the total width of the center beam with auxiliary suspenders is 43m.
The arch rib above the bridge deck consists of 1 main arch rib and 2 auxiliary arch ribs. The main arch rib is concrete filled steel tube, and the auxiliary arch rib is steel tube. The main arch rib is located in the middle of the bridge, the arch rib is located in the vertical plane, and the plane of the auxiliary arch is 20.259 with the plane of the main arch. The three arch ribs form a crescent-shaped space, which looks like a crescent moon falling on the bridge from the side, reflecting the picturesque beauty of Zhangzhou, and spreading its wings from the bridge deck like a Dapeng, symbolizing the development of Zhangzhou like a Dapeng spreading its wings and taking off.
The lateral arch ribs and main arch ribs below the bridge deck are reinforced concrete structures, and the lateral arch ribs, concrete main arch ribs and longitudinal beams form a triangular rigid frame, which is convenient for the arrangement and tension of tie bars.
The structure of this bridge is novel, which is the first time in China. Currently under construction.
Architectural engineering innovation
First, in the construction of cast-in-place box girder of approach bridge, the construction scheme of precast enlarged foundation block and Bailey beam bracket for beam pouring is innovatively adopted;
Secondly, the construction technology of underwater steel pipe support method for arch rib triangular rigid frame is adopted;
Thirdly, the optimized steel pipe arch erection scheme is adopted.
