After the internship from April to June, I reported to the company compound in July this year and officially took up my post. For urban construction companies, BIM has been dabbled in before, but its weight is not heavy, which leads to the lack of BIM professionals after the company is newly established, and the importance of BIM in municipal engineering applications is increasing day by day. The contradiction between the scarcity of BIM professionals in the company and the expansion of BIM application in municipal engineering arises. BIM is not Revit, not only 3D modeling, but also a process and technology. However, relying on our "novice" BIM team, it is difficult to apply this technology to municipal engineering. At least for now. On the one hand, our BIM team needs to constantly explore, forge ahead, accumulate experience and improve their quality. On the other hand, we also hope that the company will increase its investment in this area, such as organizing professional skills training and purchasing the latest books and videos.
