How to learn the project cost;
First: go to the construction site, find a construction site, as long as food and shelter are guaranteed, no salary is needed. At the construction site during the day, you do whatever the leader tells you to do. They give you some simple manual labor, because you don't want to be paid, and he won't treat you as a migrant worker, but you still have to do something. When you have nothing to do, take a pack of cigarettes and find the foreman or builder on your site and ask them to tell you how to read the drawings. The best thing about the construction site, better than the school, is that there must be real drawings and the physical objects can be remembered. Remember clearly, remember for a long time. Stay with them for half a year to a month and leave after learning the drawings.
Second, then go to the cost consulting company. Similarly, if you don't want money, you can say that you are an apprentice, and employees who don't want money are still recruited. You only need to learn from those professional cost engineers how to use the software and how to calculate against the drawings. Generally speaking, I will start in three months.
Third, you can find a job again. At this time, you must get paid to find a job, because you already have the basic knowledge. Write on your resume that you have worked on the construction site, not as an intern or a student. The job content is what you have learned. Accept that you have worked in a cost consulting company. Don't write that you are an apprentice. That's enough.
Note: If you go to a technical school or other training institution, you have to go the same way when you come out, otherwise no one will ask you to do the cost.
