The group company, formerly known as Ganzhou Waterworks, was established in 1958 and 1960. 198 1 was renamed as Ganzhou Water Supply Company in September. Although the daily water supply of 1962 was expanded to 3000 tons, it still could not meet the water demand. 1964 After re-demonstration, it was decided to build a factory in Xiayao Village (current site). 1965 Nanhe Water Plant (the first water plant) with a daily water supply capacity of 5,000 tons was built. With the continuous development of urban construction and economy and society, the demand for water in Ganzhou City is growing rapidly. According to the actual situation, the company closely relies on scientific and technological innovation to carry out technical transformation of Nanhe Water Plant, and gradually expands it into a medium-sized water plant with a daily production capacity of 6.5438+0.2 million tons, mainly supplying water to the old town of Hetao; Raise funds to build the second waterworks (50,000 tons/day in the first phase), and use the national yen loan to build the modern third waterworks in Ganzhou (65,438+10,000 tons/day in the first phase), so that the daily water supply scale of the company jumped to 270,000 tons; Actively promote the city's key project-the 65438+ 10,000 tons/day expansion project of the second water plant to meet the needs of Ganzhou's urban construction and development zone. After the project is completed and put into production, the daily water supply scale of the company will reach 370,000 tons. In order to effectively speed up the construction of urban sewage treatment facilities and successfully complete the objectives and tasks of energy conservation and emission reduction, in June 2008, the municipal government handed over the Baita sewage treatment plant project in the central city to Ganzhou Water Group Company for construction and operation. The group company scientifically schedules, meticulously organizes, reverses the construction period, works overtime, rushes to catch up with the progress, and rapidly advances the project construction. It only took more than half a year, and the main project was completed and put into trial operation on May 28, 2009, which was a whole month ahead of the contract time limit and the deadline requirements of the provincial and municipal governments. Over the years, the company has continuously deepened the reform, paid close attention to internal management, and led Ganzhou water suppliers to carry forward the spirit of hard work and entrepreneurship. For decades, it has worked hard to develop the water supply cause and continuously improve the service level, and achieved gratifying results.
